President – Julie Elledge
My name is Julie Elledge and this will be my 5th year with the Co-op and my 1st as President. I grew up in Lakewood (Air Force baby & Lakes HS grad), traveled a lot in my teens & twenties for work and then returned home to attend college. I started at Pierce College in Lakewood then moved on and graduated from UW Seattle. I returned to Lakewood in 2009 to raise a family. I have three boys, James will be in Kindergarten, Jack will be in the Yellow 3’s Class, and Charlie will be in a carrier during classes. I love the Co-op! It’s become our extended family and support system and we’ve all made great friends here…I hope you all do too!
Vice President/ Auction Coordinator – Kelly Morris
Kelly is from Washington State and grew up in Gig Harbor. She has moved out of state multiple times and is happy to be back in the PNW to raise her family. She is married and has two children, two dogs and two cats. Kelly enjoys crafting, sewing and spending time with her kids and takes them on as many adventures as she can.
Fundraising and Bazaars- Miranda Shenkel-Dunn
This will be her second year at the Co-op and on the board. In her spare time she enjoys crochet, candle making and reading romance novels.
Treasurer – Carrie Standish
Carrie is the treasurer here at Steilacoom Co-Op. Please feel free to ask her any questions you may have regarding school fees, tuition or any other money related matters. Carrie loves her family: Andrew (4), James (6), and her husband Elliot. Besides participating in the Co-Op, she enjoys staying busy with family activities, running her own small Mary Kay business, singing in her church choir, and playing board and card games with her husband and friends.
4’s Class Rep – Andrea Sprott
My name is Andrea Sprott, I am 34 years old. My family and me are living on Fort Lewis. I am originally from Germany and have lived in the USA since June 2012. Since December 2012 we have been living in Washington. My daughter Elizabeth is 6 and my son Sebastian is 3 years old. My daughter was in the blue class before she began school and my son will be in the 3’s class this year. I am a stay at home mom and both of them keep me really busy. In Germany I worked in a City hall, making Passports, registering our citizens and I also was able to conduct marriages, but that doesn’t help me here much. I love to read and I enjoy crafting little things with my family. My favorite sport is table tennis, yes, TABLE TENNIS and not PING PONG, which I haven’t played active since 2008 and miss it dearly.
